{Dark London Pub} Marry Me
He’d laughed. He’d actually laughed at her when she suggested it.
And then he realized that she wasn’t kidding.
And she wasn’t drunk, either.
Glancing around the almost deserted pub nervously, he said, “You’re serious?” It was more of a statement than a question.
She took a sip of her beer. “Deadly.”
He grinned. “Really?”
“You realize that this will take some serious ninja work. Like...the cover-up of a motherfucking lifetime, right?”
His face lit up.
She’d asked him to marry her.
“Yes.”
{Vegas Baby} Biggest Favor Ever
“What’s up guys? Why the secret meeting?” Rupert asked, accepting the cold beer Kristen handed to him.
Kristen looked to Rob, who shrugged, leaning back on the couch. She rolled her eyes at him before chugging the rest of her beer and turning to face her director.
“We...kind of need a favor.”
“Okay....”
“We...uh...” She shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot and threw Rob a helpless glance.
He smirked before taking pity on her. “We want to get married, Mate.”
“And you want me to get licensed on the internet to be your officiant?” Rupert teased. “Can’t you go to Vegas and have Elvis marry you?”
“No, not exactly,” Rob hedged.
{Sneaking Around} All Thumbs
“This is wrong in so many ways,” Rupert muttered half-jokingly as Kristen parked her car in plain sight of the planted paparazzi.
Kristen groaned. “Oh my God...how the fuck do we even do this?” she asked. She turned in her seat to face him. “Are you sure Liberty is cool with this?”
Rupert chuckled. “She’s fine with it. She’s even got the perfect cartoon picked out to tweet so that she looks like she’s been done wrong.”
“Ugh...Don’t even. I feel bad enough.”
“Look, she gave me this little tip that she and her girlfriends used to do in college to ward off unwanted attention.”
“Lord, do I even want to know?” she laughed.
He laughed with her. “It’s called the thumb kiss.
And before she could protest, he leaned forward to demonstrate. He cradled her face in his hands, but his thumb moved over her mouth to shield her lips from his.
She broke away as he pretended to get lost in the kiss. “Fuck, is this really my life?” she asked, glancing behind her, out the window at the soon-to-be-rich man behind the camera.
{Flowers} Perfect
“Hey honey,” she said, making her way into the living room.
Rob’s face lit up at the sight of her. “Hey you. Everything go okay?”
She nodded, sitting down beside him. “Yeah. Now it’s just a waiting game.”
He kissed her. “I love you.”
She smiled. “I love you too.”
“Stay here, I’ll be right back,” he said, standing up before she could protest and walking out of the room.
She sat quietly for a moment, flipping through the mail on the coffee table while she waited for him. She looked up and smiled when she heard him coming back in. “What’s this for?” she asked as he handed her a bouquet of wildflowers mixed in with babys breath.
He winked at her. “I just thought we should make it official,” he said.
“What do you--”
She stopped talking as he dropped down to one knee and held out a simple diamond ring.
“Kris...fuck...I had this all planned out and now that I’m in the moment none of it sounds good enough.”
Her eyes welled up with tears and she moved down to kneel on the floor with him. “Rob, I’ve already agreed to marry you,” she giggled through her tears.
His own eyes were glistening as he took her hand in his and slipped the ring onto her finger.
“It’s so perfect,” she murmured, staring at it.
“You’re perfect.”
She shook her head. “No, I’m just perfect for you. Just like you’re perfect for me.”
{Road Trip} To the Future
He grinned at her as she reached over and placed her hand on his over the gearshift of the rental car.
They’d gone into super stealth mode, taking a redeye to London. It had taken a small army of trusted people to get them here unseen in the media storm that had taken place since the “scandal”.
“You’re not having second thoughts, are you?” he teased.
She leaned her head back against the seat and sighed happily. “Not a chance,” she said softly.
He brought her hand up to his lips to kiss it. “You sure you don’t want me to tell you any details of the wedding?”
She shook her head. “No. I trust you. Or rather, I trust your Mum and sisters, because I know they did the majority of the work.”
He nodded. “Yeah, we’ll have to think of something special as a way to thank them.”
Her phone beeped and she laughed as she read the text out loud to Rob. “Josh says he’s ready to get started on the secret project.”
Rob waggled his eyebrows at her. “So am I, Love.”
{Cold Day on the Isle of Wight} Baby Girl
“Here, it’s chilly, put this on,” her dad told her, holding out a beautiful shawl.
“Thanks Daddy.”
She stared out the window at their closest friends and family gathered on the rocky beach, and her pulse began to race with excitement. She was about to marry her soulmate...the man she’d loved since the moment she set eyes on him. The man who had waited for her while she worked her shit out. The man who loved her as unconditionally as she loved him.
Lizzie popped her head in the doorway. “You ready lovey?
Kristen’s face broke out into a grin that lit up the room. “Fuck yes!” she exclaimed.
“Kristen Jaymes, I can still turn you over my knee,” her dad warned jokingly.
“Sorry Daddy.”
He winked and looped her arm through his. “Give the old man a break today...he’s giving his baby girl away.”
Impulsively, she reached up and hugged him. “I’ll always be your baby girl.”
{Van Morrison} Lullaby
The one thing Kristen had insisted on was being able to choose the music for their first dance as husband and wife.
And she knew she’d chosen right as the beginning chords of Warm Love floated through the air. It had been the first song he’d sang her to sleep with, way back during Twilight filming and it held a special place in both of their hearts.
He gathered her in his arms and they swayed softly to the music, with Rob singing along softly in her ear.
“Are you happy?” she whispered.
He swallowed the lump in his throat. “So happy.”
She laid her cheek on his shoulder and watched their guests mingling. Every person here had played some special part in the amazing love story that she and Rob shared and she was suddenly overcome with emotion.
“Baby?” he asked. “What’s wrong?”
She tore her gaze away from where Stephanie and Ruth were huddled in the corner, laughing with Rupert and Liberty.
She smiled up at him, her eyes glistening. “Nothing. Absolutely nothing.”
“Hey Kris?”
“Hmmm?”
“Thanks for not picking Nickleback or something for our first song.”
{Moonlight} Beautiful Babies
They’d left their guests behind in favor of a moonlit walk on the beach, which quickly turned into Rob sitting down against a huge rock, pants unzipped, with Kristen straddling his lap, her dress hiked up around her waist and panties pushed to the side.
“Fuck, I’ll never get tired of this,” he panted, grabbing her hips as she moved up and down on his cock.
“Me neither,” she gasped as she rocked forward and he hit a particularly good spot deep inside of her.
“You’ll have my babies, right?” he asked.
“Yes. Tons of blue-eyed babies.”
“Green eyes.”
“No, your eyes, my hair.”
“You love my hair.”
She hummed. “I do,” she said, demonstrating just how much she loved it by running her hands through it. “But it’s sex hair. I don’t want our babies to have sex hair.”
He grunted when her movements became more urgent as she tried to bring them both to their orgasms. “Okay, fine. Your hair, my eyes.”
“They’ll be beautiful,” she whispered.
“They will.”
She cried out as she came, burying her face in his neck. He followed closely after her, pulling her as close to him as he could.
“Your eyes, my hair, and your generous heart,” she whispered, kissing his chin.
“I think that’s something we both share,” he whispered back.
